Luca Filastro, pianist and composer was born in 1992. He is not only a promise anymore but a guarantee in the world of jazz pianism according to major artists. He discovered his musical vocation when he was five years old due to the discs of Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong and other jazz greats. He studied classical piano and get the diploma with honors when he was 19. The complex pianism of Filastro is easily recognizable by his incredible sense of swing, blues and improvisation, in which stride piano, swing, bebop and blues are mixed into a personal synthesis. He performs in jazz clubs, theaters, dance halls and festivals around the world.
